Welcome to the web site for Temple Village, Midlothian, Scotland. We aim to provide information about the village of Temple and surrounding areas for the local community.

Whether you want to check the dates for upcoming events, look up the number of a take-away before you leave work or are just interested in finding out about Temple itself, we hope you enjoy your stay.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, events in the village hall may be cancelled/postponed

so if you plan to attend any, you should check with the organisers first as the website may not

reflect the current situation.

Temple Defibrillator Training - Thanks to the generosity of the community we raised sufficient funds to purchase a life saving defibrillator. The next stage is to provide training in using the defibrillator, basic resuscitation and what to do if there is an emergency. These training sessions are for everybody. You do not have to be an expert in first aid to come along. At the end of the training you will know enough to save somebody’s life.

We have tried to fit training around other events at the village hall with one aimed at young people.  All training is at the village hall and should not last more than an hour.
